NEUROBLITZ METHOD

Neuroblitz Team-development

The Neuroblitz Method is based on two pillars - science and theater. Our method works as follows; we create training exercises on the basis of the latest research papers in areas such as productivity, team-development, psychology etc.

This knowledge is then distilled into easy to use tools that we give your team to improve or enhance their performance. We focus on seven pillars of team-performance according to the work of Salas & Tannenbaum:

  • Communication

  • Coordination

  • Capability

  • Cognition

  • Conditions

  • Coaching

  • Cooperation

While scientific research gives us the knowledge we need to take your team to the next level, theater gives us the vehicle. Our programs, interventions and exercises draw inspiration from Applied Improvisation and Forum Theater, two areas which have been proven to be vectors of change. This makes our trainings unique as they are hands-on, easily actionable and memorable.

Having fun during a workshop shouldn’t be dismissed as trivial, because the fastest and most sustainable learning is experiential and accompanied by good feelings. In a nutshell, people learn, not when they are bored and disengaged, but when they get active and enjoy themselves. With every interaction, we strive to disrupt ingrained patterns that no longer work and give teams the opportunity to discover new and better ways of working and interacting. And we are not alone.

Neuroblitz has a wide pool of freelance trainers, consultants and actors with whom we can collaborate to enrich every project with their experience and skill set.

Last but not least, we are deeply aware that at the heart of every organization lie its mission, its purpose and its values. That is why a strong facet of every Neuroblitz workshop will always be value-driven.

We take the time to understand you, the organization and the people in it. Your focus becomes our focus and everything we do will be infused with the same spirit that brought your organization into being.

Our work draws on the systematic model of improvisation from Zenk et al. (2021). The model sets a valuable framework for understanding situational agency under complex and uncertain circumstances. We use the model in practice-based live simulations. We give participants the opportunity to practice real-time doing, which makes workshop contents applicable for their (work) life.

Based on such an individual framework for your team, we develop a detailed structure. We adapt the individual modules, methods and formats to your needs in order to maximize your economic value.
